Overview
Our team was commissioned by GXO Doncaster to carry out a complete descale and drainage maintenance service across the site’s toilet facilities. The objective was to restore full flow efficiency, remove blockages, and ensure all pipework and fixtures were operating at optimal performance.
Our Scope of Works
- Removal of Fixtures:
All urinals in both the male and female toilet areas were safely removed to allow full access to the pipework and traps. - Manhole Access and Inspection:
The manhole located in the gents’ toilet area was opened to facilitate downstream access for jetting and camera survey operations. - CCTV Drainage Survey:
A full camera inspection was carried out throughout the internal pipework to identify scale buildup, blockages, and flow restrictions. - Trap and Pipe Descale:
Urinals were removed from the wall to clear and descale the individual traps and connecting waste lines. - Toilet Waste Line Survey and Cleaning:
All pipework carrying toilet waste was surveyed and cleaned using high-pressure water jetting and a milling machine to remove heavy scale deposits and obstructions.
The Solution
Upon completion, all pipework and fixtures were tested and confirmed to be in perfect working order. The system now benefits from:

- Elimination of blockages and scale buildup
- Reduced risk of future drainage issues
